The newspaper’s name, Divya Bhaskar, translates to ‘Charming Sun’, and it has, over the years, become a household name among Gujarati speakers located not just in Gujarat, but across Gujarati communities in other parts of India as well. It is estimated that Divya Bhaskar has more than 8,54,000 copies of the newspaper in circulation on average on any given day, and the newspaper has the largest number of editions by any newspaper in the state of Gujarat.
